DrupalCamp Gothenburg 2012: 10 years later

11 years ago I attended my first DrupalCamp, and it was a lot of fun. With that visit in mind the question about organising a DrupalCamp in Gothenburg was raised during a Drupal meetup (in Gothenburg). I can't remember if I was the one raising the question, or if it was someone else, but I embraced it anyway. I have always loved organising these kind of events, and Drupal really showed me what a force the community can be.

Together with a bunch of lovely people from the different Drupal agencies in Gothenburg, a camp was put together. I've been trying to find documents from this time, but I have a feeling all the different people involved kept documents on their own laptops and such.

It was a great camp, though, and I learned a lot. Of events, of organising, of people. This led to me organising another two drupalcamps in Gothenburg, in 2013 and 2014. Those two camps were harder to organise due to rivalry with the Drupal community in Stockholm and their efforts to organise their own DrupalCamps.

But the camp in Gothenburg of 2012 were a blast.

Memories fade though, and the few memories I have are so blurry that I won't bother to jot them down.

"A picture says more than a thousand words." So I've uploaded the ones I have from the camp. Enjoy!
