About Adam Evertsson
I came into contact with the internet for the first time in 1993 and spend most of my waking hours tinkering with the web in one way or another. It has left its mark in many different ways, and many side projects have a connection to the web or originate from there.
My other projects, both beyond the web
When I'm not spending time with family and friends, I try to give some love to my editorial websites Intresseklubben, SSG - Sveriges Sexiga Geografi, Reklam Från Förr, and Alla Talar Svenska.
I also started SkrattNet as early as 1996, a website that I sold in 2000 and then again in 2018. A story I've written a longer blog post about called SkrattNet - A Story of a Website and Its 22 Years on the Web.
I've published two books; Bla Bla - 600 Incredibly Useless Facts and the coffee table book Comic Book Advertising.
I paint paintings, which you can see more of if you click here, and my photographs can be downloaded and used for free from Pixabay.
I'm involved in two podcasts; Drupalsnack (paused) and Voffor Då Då?.
Drupal
I discovered the CMS Drupal in 2010 and fell in love with the community around it, which of course is the reason for my user account on drupal.org and that I help out in the Swedish part of groups.drupal.org.
Initiated and project-led DrupalCamp Gothenburg 2012, made a new successful attempt 2013, and concluded the trilogy with our most successful camp 2014. I'm also one of the hosts of the Swedish podcast Drupalsnack and occasionally I make a screencast or two on YouTube.
Initially, I shared my knowledge about Drupal, both through instructional videos on YouTube and blog posts here on my blog, and then also when I worked at the digital agency Kodamera, which also contributed to and nurtured my Drupal skills.
